The Sustainable Engine Alliance was formed by Kuehne+Nagel, SR Technics and Atlas Air with a focus on low-carbon leadership through collaboration among participants and advocating for investments to drive decarbonization across their combined value chain. By joining forces, Alliance members aims to reduce their collective environmental impact and build synergized networks for sustainable engine supply ecosystems.

Transparency
Ensure that the measurements adhere to rigorous standards and industry best practices to maintain transparency and reliability. These metrics serve as crucial benchmarks for sustainable practices and informed decisionmaking across the entire supply chain.
Avoid
Leverage data analysis, operational optimization and consolidation, modal switch solutions, service preference models to continuous improve and to avoid emissions in our value chain - 30% of scope 3 emission can be addressed through avoidance.
Reduce
Leverage new transport technologies and prioritize alternative fuels use (SAF, Biofuel, HVO) to reduce emissions in our value chain.
Implementing robust monitoring systems to optimize fuel usage for environmental benefit and operational efficiency.
Carbon Removal
Use Alliance´s influence to explore Carbon Removal technologies & projects, with focused on future and scalable outcome.
